Advanced Pain & Fungal Nail Relief Now Available

Do you want to reduce or eliminate fungal nails, acute pain and long-term pain, and avoid the use of medications, injections, and surgery?

Laser Therapy or "photobiomodulation" is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near infrared) to create therapeutic effects; including: improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling.

Numerous studies have shown Laser Therapy can help with:
  • Burns
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Diabetic neuropathy
  • Foot & Ankle Pain
  • Fungal toenail damage
  • Heel pain
  • Ligament sprains
  • Morton's neuroma
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Painful gait
  • Plantar fascitis
  • Repetitive stress injuries
  •  Sport's injuries

There are thousands of published studies demonstrating the clinical effectiveness of Laser Therapies.  Among these there are more than 100 rigorously controlled scientific studies that document the effectiveness of laser for many clinical conditions.

During each painless treatment laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area.  This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain.  As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain in relieved.

Advanced Technologies

The K Series 1200 Therapy Laser System utilizes a dual wavelength beam and a multiple frequency approach to penetrate deep into tissue and promote the healing process.  As the most powerful therapy laser in its class, it provides:

Shorter treatment times. Improved cellular response. Consistent treatment outcomes. Lasting results

Physiological and Biological Effects of Laser Therapy

•Accelerated tissue repair and cell growth

•Faster wound healing

•Improved bone healing

•Reduced scar tissue formation

•Anti-inflammation

•Analgesia

•Improved vascular activity

•Increased metabolic activity and cell repair

•Improved nerve function

•Immunoregulation/ATP formation

•Musculoskeletal pain relief

Are there any side effects or associated risks?

This therapy has been used for more than twenty years by healthcare providers all over the world, and very few side effects have been reported. Occasionally, some old injuries may feel aggravated for a few days, as the healing process is more active after treatment.

Does it hurt?  What does a treatment feel like?

There is little or no sensation during treatment. Occasionally there may be a mild, soothing warmth or tingling.  Areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction.  The typical treatment is 3 to 12 minutes, depending on the area and the size of the area being treated.

How often should a patient be treated?

Many conditions require weekly treaments others may require 2-3 times per week.

How many treatments does it take?

This depends on the nature of the condition being treated.  For some acute conditions 1 to 6 treatments may be sufficient.  Severe arthritis and other conditions may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.

How long before the results are felt?

You may feel improvement in your condition (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment.  Sometimes you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments.  This does not mean that the condition is not improving.  Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after 3 to 4 sessions. Some patients will respond weeks after the treatment is completed.

Improvements can be seen within the nails anywhere from 6 to 12 months, as this is the time it usually takes for the infected nail to grow out. The treatment protocol is 1 treatment a week for 3 weeks. A booster treament may be necessary in 6 months.

The doctor may suggest combining the use of laser, oral medications, or topicals, depending on the case.

Can it be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment?

Yes!

Laser Treatment is often used with other forms of treatment, including physical therapy, massage, soft tissue mobilization, and even following surgery.  Other healing modalities are complementary and can be used with laser to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
